    I am working in vista for more than 2 years. All of the sudden when i change the setting as like above, the screen looks so ugly and the performance is little better. But i dont prefer the real vista users to do. Or just try it and see how you like it.

    I've used Windows 2000 until it was obsolete and needed a new operating system for the applications I started to use. Otherwise I'd be on it even today. I have XP now and I wouldn't mind making it a bit faster even if the graphics have to suffer. As I said, I really liked the 2000 look.
